Currently we are seeking an experienced and
responsive Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to the elderly in the
community. The position is permanent part time (38 hours per fortnight) to
assist our nursing staff in the Taree, Forster, Tea Gardens and Port Stephens
area as and when required.

Required to complete a confidentiality agreement
that requires employees to keep staff, volunteer, client and Organizational
information confidential.

Appointment to this position will be subject to
a probity check being conducted under the terms of the Child Protection and
Community Services Act of the relevant State.
·
Required to maintain a satisfactory Federal
Police Record and maintain a record check that is no older than three years.
·
May involve work outside normal business hours.
·
May involve travel to and from meetings or
training outside normal business hours.
·
Physically able to provide a range of nursing
and personal care tasks in the community.
·
Available for after hour consultations on
nursing issues.
·
Maintain current Tetanus vaccination.
·
Maintain current Driver's License.
·
Maintain First Aid Certification.
·
Maintain general registration as a Registered
Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Professional & Personal Skills:
·
The registered nurse takes a leadership role in
the delivery of telehealth care services including direct care planning for
patients, set-up of telehealth care equipment in patient's homes, support to
patients to utilize telehealth care equipment and remote monitoring of
patients' health and provision of both in fierce
Requirements:
·
Current up to date registration with AHPRA
·
Demonstrated clinical problem solving skills to
maximize patient care
·
Demonstrated ability to relate to aged people
·
Well developed interpersonal and communication
skills
·
Current drivers licence
·
Previous experience providing community based
nursing is desired but not essential
