Requirements:
  • minimum of 2 years heavy vehicle driving experience
  • must hold HC/MC License
  • have proven safe driving record and possess a strong focus on incident free operation
  • an AIP/SLP Passport and DG license is preferred
  • be honest, reliable, flexible and display a professional attitude
Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing geographical maps and avoiding the routes that are dangerous, full of obstacles and repairs or avoiding uneven roads
  • Planning the places where he could stop and refill his truck tank with fuel before starting his journey as per the rules and regulations of his company
  • Chasing the costs for the aim of revenue enhancements and making sure that proper compensation takes place for company disbursals
  • Negotiating time in order to prevent job losses and save the same
  • Executing his documented project job responsibilities, roles and duties every time the load is drawn and dropped
  • Travelling and acclimatizing to all types of seasons, whether night or day
  • Driving carefully on hills and bad weather circumstances and managing his truck safely out of crowded places as well
  • Coping successfully with time and money in order to ensure that he makes profits from his business of fuel truck driving
  • Reading the measuring instruments and meters in order to record the readings and quantifying the goods loaded and drawn
  • Directing the truck towards the places where the customers stay
  • Accountable for the total sum dropped and supplying commercial documents to the customers
  • Documenting the required and important readings and quantities of the truck and commodities respectively in the driver's log
  • Examining the goods that are carried by him to other places and ensuring that they meet all the customer policies, rules and regulations
  • Overseeing the safety aspects of his working environment and making sure that they are upheld and renewed accordingly, as and when needed

You will lead the development of the asset components of the integrated Products and Services Strategy for Service Delivery and have accountability for developing asset specifications and efficiency programs that define the right cost and quality at an acceptable level of risk whilst ensuring Products continue to meet our Customers’ needs.

You will be required to collaborate with Service Delivery business units and other divisions across Sydney Water. You will also be required to consult and engage with key external stakeholders including our Regulators, other interested parties and specialist service providers to ensure benchmarking and best practice principles are maintained.

Maintaining a 2 to 5 year strategic focus you will be responsible for the development of ‘best practice’ asset management strategies to met the requirements of our Operating and Environmental Protection Licence requirements in line the with corporate risk appetite. You will oversee the tactical implementation of these strategies, including the management of asset configuration through the asset life-cycle and the application of standards and decision frameworks, e.g. planned maintenance optimization and condition assessment.

Your duties will include:
·         The management of Sydney Water's fixed asset base together with the management and prioritization of investment programs to support a robust 5 year plan.
·         The development and management of Asset Maintenance standards and FMECA work processes to support the optimization of asset availability and reliability.
·         Carry out forward looking risk assessments to identify and manage asset related risks and will develop models that supports the understanding of quality/risk/cost trade-offs throughout the asset life cycle.
·         Required to support other business units in resolving technical, tactical, and strategic issues around assets and provide input into Asset Contingency & Resilience Plans.
Requirements:
·         Must have a tertiary qualification in engineering, science or a related discipline
·         Experience deemed equivalent with demonstrated experience and skills in the development and specification of asset management needs that supports the delivery or products and services to meet customer expectations at the right cost and quality at an acceptable level of risk.
·         Must have strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills at all levels both internal and external to the Organizations.
·         Must have advanced skills and demonstrated ability to interact and establish a high degree of credibility, build relationships and influence at all levels.

You will carry out forward looking risk assessments to identify and manage product risks across the full water cycle through appropriate strategies, frameworks and processes, including providing input into Product Contingency & Resilience Plans.
