You will lead the development of the
product components of the integrated Products and Services Strategy for Service
Delivery and have accountability for developing product specifications and
efficiency programs that define the right cost and quality at an acceptable
level of risk whilst ensuring Products continue to meet our Customers’ needs.
Requirements:

You will be required to collaborate with Service
Delivery business units and other divisions across Sydney Water.
·
You will also be required to consult and engage
with Customers and other key external stakeholders including our Regulators and
other interested parties to understand expectations regarding quality and
service obligations and how this is balanced with willingness to pay
objectives.

This role will be the primary contact point for
the Sydney Water relationship with New South Wales Health.
Maintaining a 2 to 5 year strategic focus
you will be responsible for the development of ‘best practice’ product and
service management strategies that deliver the required drinking and recycled
water product outcomes in line with the corporate risk appetite by specifying
operating envelopes and performance standards and will oversee the tactical
implementation of these activities.
You will carry out forward looking risk
assessments to identify and manage product risks across the full water cycle
through appropriate strategies, frameworks and processes, including providing
input into Product Contingency & Resilience Plans.
To be considered for this role you must
have tertiary qualifications in engineering, science or a related discipline
with demonstrated experience and skills in the development of product needs for
sustainable integrated water/ recycled water products and systems.
You must have strong written, verbal and
interpersonal communication skills at all levels both internal and external to
the organizations, with the ability to establish a high degree of credibility.
You must have advanced skills and demonstrated ability to interact, build
relationships and influence at all levels, both internal and external to the
organization.
